Aquired in August 2019, Hazeldean has undergone some significant changes. Key among them is the addition of GoodLife Fitness to the mall. The new club will occupy 50,000 of the 100,000sf left vacant when Target exited the Canadian market in 2015.
This new “mega club” will be the largest in the Ottawa area. It will feature “state-of-the-art” equipment and amenities, employ about 100 people, and bring increased traffic to the mall. As a result, the inclusion of Goodlife will expand Hazeldean’s customer mix and secondly, bring a renewed vigour to the shopping complex and its existing tenants.
