Steve Gordon Executive Chairman

Steve Gordon is Regional Group’s executive chairman. From 1982 to 2020, he served as CEO &
president, leading the firm and shaping it into the integrated real estate platform that it is today. As
executive chair, he serves in an advisory capacity to the C-suite and executive team. Steve’s
visionary and entrepreneurial approach to real estate has been the driver behind many of
Regional’s most successful deals and communities. Steve’s personal core values of integrity,
commitment and gratitude are central to Regional’s culture.

Steve is a member of both the real estate and local communities and has served as president,
Real Estate Institute of Canada, Eastern Ontario Chapter; president, Institute of Real Estate
Property Management, Ottawa; president, Housing & Urban Development Association of
Canada, Ottawa; national director, Real Estate Institute of Canada; governor of the Ottawa
Boys & Girls Club; governor, Jr. Achievement of Canada; and founding governor, Institute of
Conflict Resolution.

Sender Gordon President & CEO

Sender joined Regional Group in 2012 and is the third generation to serve as CEO and
president, following the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He is responsible for the firm’s
vision and strategy,and chairs the executive committee. Prior to serving as CEO & president, he
was the firm’s executive vice president in charge of Investments & Leasing, sourcing and
syndicating value-add real estate for the portfolios of the Regional Group and its investors.
Sender thrives on the goals of each transaction and crafting a deal that addresses the needs and
interests of all stakeholders.

Prior to joining Regional, Sender completed rabbinical training in New York and was ordained as
a Rabbi in 2010. In 2012, Sender and his wife, Sarah, founded Miles of Smiles, a non-profit
organization established to teach English as a second language. The organization, which began
in Ottawa, now has numerous branches and an international reach.

David Kardish Sr. VP, Land Development

David is responsible for Regional’s Land Development department including land acquisitions, syndications, development and dispositions. During his 30 years at Regional, he has become widely recognized as an industry leader in creative and innovative development. David and his team have been instrumental in the acquisition and development of high-tech business parks, retail lands, and master-planned residential communities, most recently including the CITIGATE Corporate Campus and Greystone Village, a LEED ND community.

Prior to joining Regional, David was a senior planner for the Regional Municipality of Ottawa Carleton, where he was involved in the City’s first comprehensive inventory of residential development lands. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University and a Master’s degree in Planning from Queens University.

Josh Kardish President, eQ Homes and VP, Development

Josh oversees all development activities across Regional Group as the Vice President, Development and is the President of eQ Homes, a Regional Group affiliate. Josh joined Regional Group in 2006 as a land development manager, working side-by-side with his father, VP David Kardish. In that capacity, he managed large-scale, master-planned residential developments from acquisition through to completion. Prior to that, Josh worked as a planning consultant for Novatech Engineering Limited, an Ottawa-based engineering consulting firm. This combined experience gives him a unique perspective and behind-the-scenes knowledge that he brings to eQ Homes, which he joined as vice president in 2016.

A multiple degree graduate from Dalhousie University – a Master’s degree in Urban & Rural Planning and Bachelor of Commerce, Josh is the past president of the Greater Ottawa Homebuilders’ Association and a current Board Member on the Executive of the Ontario Homebuilders Association. Josh has also provided community-based Board support for Habitat for Humanity, CAHDCO, the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and Camp B’Nai Brith of Ottawa.

Adam Schoones, P. App, AACI Director, Tax & Valuation

Adam Schoones empowers real estate investors and asset managers to optimize their portfolios and maximize value across the entire asset lifecycle. As a Director of Tax and Valuation, he delivers data-driven valuations, asset management consulting services, and strategic property tax solutions.

Specializing in the multi-residential asset class and with a strong understanding of all major commercial sectors, Adam helps clients make smarter investment decisions and enhance asset performance. He acts as a strategic partner, identifying opportunities for value creation, mitigating risk, and providing the clear insights necessary for sustainable growth.

Adam’s diverse experience ranges from working with individual investors to Crown corporations, overseeing an annual property tax portfolio of over $55 million. A graduate of the University of Guelph (B.Comm) and the University of British Columbia (Post Graduate Certificate in Valuation), Adam holds the P.App. AACI designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, reflecting his commitment to excellence in the field of valuation.

Lance Leblanc Senior Director, IT Strategy and Enterprise Solutions

Lance is an accomplished IT professional with 25 years of experience in the real estate sector, specializing in aligning technology with business strategy to drive organizational success.

With a deep understanding of the dynamic relationship between technology and operations, Lance excels in designing and implementing IT strategies that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support business growth. His expertise has been pivotal in scaling operations for real estate firms across Canada, successfully managing expansions in major cities like Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Celia Muregerera VP, People and Culture

Drawing upon over 16 years of experience in Human Resources, Celia brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Prior to joining Regional Group in 2023, she honed her skills in the technology and built environment sectors, acquiring valuable insights along the way.

Tobin Kardish Vice President, Strategic Growth, eQ Homes

Tobin Kardish is the Vice President of Strategic Growth at eQ Homes, where he oversees all aspects of revenue and growth. He joined the company in 2011 as a Marketing Coordinator, steadily building his industry expertise one community at a time.

Demonstrating a strong appetite for product knowledge and marketing strategy, Tobin progressed to Marketing and Product Manager. In this role, he broadened his understanding of the key drivers behind a successful production housing company, consistently delivering results for both the business and its homeowners. This track record ultimately led to his promotion to Vice President of Strategic Growth in 2025.

Tobin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Bishop’s University. He has continued his professional development, achieving accreditation from the Canadian Marketing Association and earning certifications through the Professional Home Builders Institute.

Nick Karavidas Director, Commercial Construction

Nick Karavidas is the Director of Commercial Construction, where he oversees project delivery, operational performance, team leadership, and client relationships across a diverse portfolio of commercial developments. With more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry, he has extensive experience leading complex projects from concept through completion.

Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree, is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), and has earned Gold Seal Certification (GSC) in Construction Project Management. His professional credentials complement his commitment to sustainable building practices and environmentally responsible construction.

Known for his collaborative approach and commitment to quality, design, and innovation, Nick works closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to achieve successful outcomes. His leadership approach combines technical expertise, operational excellence, and a focus on building strong, lasting partnerships.

John Loubser Senior Vice President, Properties

John Loubser is the Senior Vice President, Properties, where he leads Regional Group’s Asset and Property Management team, setting strategy and translating it into strong performance through empowerment, mentorship, and collaboration.

With more than 30 years of leadership experience in the real estate industry, John brings a combination of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a strong focus on people and culture. Prior to joining Regional Group in 2026, he spent a decade in senior leadership at Hazelview Properties following more than two decades leading teams at The Minto Group.

John holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa and served on the Board of the Eastern Ontario Landlord Association for more than a decade. An avid student of behavioural science, he is passionate about developing talent, fostering collaboration, and creating environments where people can do their best work.

Melissa Gauthier Director, Sales and Design, eQ Homes

Melissa Gauthier is the Director of Sales and Design at eQ Homes, where she brings more than a decade of experience in residential real estate, new home sales, design, and leadership. She joined eQ Homes in 2012 as a Sales Representative and progressed to Sales Manager, earning national recognition as a Silver Award winner for Sales Manager of the Year.

Born and raised in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Melissa studied at Champlain College and completed her real estate education at the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec. Her background in real estate and the arts has shaped her approach to sales, design, and the customer experience.

As eQ Homes evolved, Melissa helped establish a new leadership role and became the company’s first Director of Sales and Design. A people-first leader, she is passionate about creating an environment where people feel valued and supported, while always remembering that every house eQ Homes builds ultimately becomes someone’s home.

Lindsay Callihoo Director, Leasing, eQ Homes

Lindsay Callihoo is the Director of Leasing at eQ Homes, where she leads the leasing strategy for the company’s purpose-built rental portfolio from pre-leasing through stabilization. She oversees leasing operations, pricing strategy, marketing initiatives, and lease-up execution, working collaboratively across departments to maximize occupancy and support long-term asset performance.

Since joining eQ Homes in 2017, Lindsay has built her career within the organization, beginning in home sales before transitioning into residential leasing. With a decade of industry experience across both sales and leasing, she brings a well-rounded understanding of the customer journey and the key drivers of successful residential communities.

Lindsay is passionate about continuous learning, challenging herself, and finding innovative ways to improve leasing performance. She enjoys analyzing market trends, developing strategic leasing initiatives, and leading her team to deliver exceptional results while creating positive experiences for residents.

Evan Garfinkel Director, Land Development

Evan is the Director of Land Development at Regional Group, where he leads a team responsible for advancing land development projects from acquisition through planning approvals and delivery. His work focuses on identifying opportunities, managing risk, and guiding developments that contribute to vibrant and sustainable communities.

With more than eight years of experience in the development industry, Evan has worked on a diverse range of projects across the Greater Ottawa Region. Prior to joining Regional Group, he worked as a consulting Land Use Planner, supporting planning applications, due diligence initiatives, and development projects.

Evan holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Victoria. He is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and Ontario Professional Planners Institute. Evan also contributes to the industry through CAHDCO, the City of Ottawa’s Planning and Engineering Liaison Committee, and GOHBA’s Builder Developer Council, and has previously served as Chair of ULI Ottawa.

Peter Jury Senior Vice President, Operations

Peter Jury is the Senior Vice President of Operations at eQ Homes, where he provides strategic oversight across Purchasing, Contracts, Construction, Scheduling, and Customer Care. His leadership focuses on strengthening alignment across teams, driving operational excellence, enhancing the customer experience, and delivering on commitments made to homeowners and stakeholders.

With 18 years of experience in the residential construction industry, Peter specializes in operational leadership, process improvement, and building high-performing teams. Since joining eQ Homes in 2013, he has progressed through several leadership roles, including Director of Construction and Vice President of Construction.

Peter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. His leadership philosophy is rooted in teamwork, accountability, quality, and continuous improvement. He takes great pride in the lasting impact of the team’s work and in creating vibrant communities and experiences for the people who call them home.

Francesca Jacobs Director of Customer Experience, eQ Homes

With over 24 years of experience spanning hospitality management and the homebuilding industry, Francesca brings extensive expertise in customer service, relationship management, and operational leadership to her role as Director of Customer Experience at eQ Homes.

Francesca oversees the homeowner experience, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service, guidance, and support throughout their homebuilding journey. Drawing on her diverse professional background, she understands the importance of anticipating customer needs, navigating challenges, and building lasting relationships through professionalism, accountability, and care.

Her leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and empowering her team to deliver a consistent and positive homeowner experience. She is committed to maintaining the high standards of service that define eQ Homes while fostering a culture of accountability and customer-focused excellence.

Beyond her role at eQ Homes, Francesca has served as a member of the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) Discipline and Appeals Committee since its establishment in July 2021, reflecting her ongoing involvement in the homebuilding industry.
